The Nostepinne is an old Norwegian tool used to wind yarn into center pull balls without changing the twist of the yarn. Approximately 11″ (28 cm) long, this tool has a nice smooth finish, but not too smooth so the yarn doesn't slide off while winding. It's long enough to wind a large ball of worsted or even chunky yarn. Made of wood.
